DEHYDRATION AT 80°C
Our ingredients are gently dehydrated at low temperatures before being finely ground into a nutrient-rich blend.
This process removes moisture while helping preserve the natural goodness, flavour and nutritional value of the raw ingredients. Unlike heavily processed dog foods, we focus on keeping the ingredients as close to their natural state as possible, in a dry format.
Every stage of production takes place here in the UK for complete quality control and consistency.
COLD-PRESSED AT 45°C
Once blended, the recipe is cold-pressed at a low temperature of just 45°C. Traditional kibble is typically extruded using high heat and multiple rounds of high pressure, which can damage delicate nutrients and make the food harder to digest.
Our gentle cold-pressing process helps retain more natural nutrients while creating a highly digestible pellet that breaks down more naturally in the stomach.
The result is a nutritious, minimally processed food designed to support healthier digestion, stable energy, shiny coats and long-term wellbeing.

I'm Ross, founder of WILD Pet Food & Level 3 Diploma Canine Nutritionist.
When I started my quest to improve dog food in 2017, I set out on a mission to better understand dogs' allergies, reactions and illnesses and how they're impacted by food.
Many of the dogs around me were becoming more and more ill, many with intolerances, allergies, rashes and even more serious problems. I knew there had to be a link between the processed foods they were eating, and the terrible filler ingredients that big pet food manufacturers shove into their kibbles to make a profit. And, so I discovered the power of raw feeding.
I really do appreciate a raw diet but I also understand that most owners like (or sometimes need) to have a dry food alternative on hand. To my surprise, nobody was making a dry food with ingredients that were remotely equivalent to high quality raw diets.
I created WILD Pet Food to feed our working dogs a biologically appropriate diet; high meat content, no unnecessary fillers and as close to what they would've eaten in the wild, in a convenient format.
